Advances in Current and Wave Measurement Technology and Observations

March 17-19, 2008 | Doubletree Guest Suites | Charleston, South Carolina

November 2, 2008

Dear Fellow Marine Instrumentation Manufacturer:

In March 2008, the 9th IEEE Current Measurement Conference is heading to Dixieland---Historic Charleston, South Carolina.  As well as current metering technologies, we are also highlighting Wave Measurement Technology and Observations.

Few trade shows provide exhibitors with a forum as effective as an office visit--a unique aspect of this Conference.  Beginning with the icebreaker event on March 16, you and your company have a unique opportunity to make very cost-effective use of your travel time and budget by meeting with 150 relevant, qualified, and widely dispersed prospects from the US and abroad -- including influencers in the industry.

You are most cordially invited to exhibit your products and services and to present technical papers describing work you have completed (not sales pitches).

Following is a list of exhibitor observations after prior CMTC meetings:

  • Captive audience:  all attendees stay at the same hotel and dine locally
  • Attendees return repeatedly to the proximity of the booths and are available for extended periods
  • Manufacturers can sit down for extended dialog with prospects while still being nearby your booth
  • Breaks are held in the exhibition area, providing ample opportunity to connect
  • Manufacturers can attend all papers due to the use of a single forum for presentation

Download the Exhibition Registration Packet  Contained in the packet are the CMTC Application for exhibitor space, the CMTC Exhibitor Terms and Conditions, and the Doubletree Exhibitor's Contract.  All three forms must be completed and returned by the due date, together with the exhibitor's fee, to Peter Spain at the address below.

Don't miss this opportunity to connect effectively with the Current and Wave measurement fraternity at the 9th IEEE Working Conference on Current Measurement. Please send me your Exhibition Application and DEPOSIT (check or purchase order made out to IEEE/CMTC 2008) at the address below.  Note:  Billing zip code for USA credit cards is required for processing

Next Spring, we hope to see you in Dixie -- Charleston, South Carolina,
